WATCH OUT!!!

When things are going good you'd better watch out cause something/someone is just around the corner to knock you down!

I've been telling everyone how awesome things have been lately... well sure enough i've taken a hit.

I've been driving around since Feb. with an expired tag b/c honestly I haven't had the money to get it renewed. Last night it caught up with me. I was pulled over in Helena and was given a ticket. I explained to the officer that i knew it was expired but we've gone through some major financial set backs and I hadn't had the money. He gave me a ticket anyways. I asked him "if i can't afford my tag how do you think I'm going to afford your ticket?" He said maybe the judge could put me on a payment plan... I said "awe that would be nice."

Afterwards I called Matt Staggs... who's a police officer for B'ham now... he knew the officer and called him right away but the officer's sergent wouldn't let him pull the ticket.

I laid in bed and cried... i have money to pay for my tag... but i'm upset b/c now i'm going to be paying for something that could have avoided


Okay... for the second part....
Well I hired an attorney back in the end of JANUARY!!!! to represent me for an increase in child support. He told me in January that I would be going to court in February.... He didn't file my papers until APRIL so my court date was set for may 12th.

This morning I get a call from his secretary.... she tells me my court date is going to be conitued... I asked her what conitued meant and she said Bubba (don't hire an attorney named bubba) had somewhere else to be... I said you bet... he's got to be in court with ME! She said no m'am he has somewhere else he has to be. I said... this has gone on for SIX MONTHS i'm so tired of being jerked around by him. She interrupted and said... I'm just the messenger... would you like his vm so you can leave him a message.. I said No m'am he can't even return my phone calls! Thanks and I hung up!

See now normally going to court is a simply and quick thing.... I would have had my increase in the month of FEBRUARY... but no... now my increase will not take place until probably JUNE... in other words I've lost 5 months worth of an increase.... I paid my attorney in FEBRUARY!

No i'm not money hungry... but my child requires a new wardrobe every season b/c she's a growing girl... she just had to get glasses.... she's playing soccer.... school reenrollment is due $275!... and all the other things that children need. His other kids go without NOTHING... why should his first child suffer!?!

Bottom line... I hate attorneys and I hate cops!
