GOOD NEWS

NO MORE EAR INFECTIONS!!!!
THANK YOU JESUS!

One Down and One to Go

We just got back from the heart doctor... NO PROBLEMS. He said that the murmur sound that our doctor heard could just be the normal sound of his heart. He did say that there's possibility that Jeremiah has a flowing heart murmur that may come and go but no problems as far as he could tell.
Our next appointment is this afternoon at 3:30 for a followup appt on his ear infection.

thanks for praying!

Our Date Night

I forgot to tell you all about our date night almost 2 weeks ago LOL! The question of the week on Crystal's site made me think of it.

We went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse... Matt picked it which is really suprising b/c i just knew he's pick stix or taste of thailand. We had to wait about 45 minutes and then our waitress got our order wrong but we still enjoyed ourselves. My parents were keeping the kids and said we could stay out till midnight!!!! So over dinner we were trying to figure out what we were going to do with the rest of our time. We finally agreed on going to the movies. We got there and OMG!!!! The amount of teenagers that were there was crazy! I felt really old. They were acting stupid and I was getting really frustrated with everyone around me. On the way in I opened the door (the ENTRANCE DOOR) and some little chick about knocked me over!!!! I stopped and stood their with the door open and she gave me a look!!!!!!!!! I was shocked! Then she started speaking in spanish - LOL!! I said "excuse me?!" and she walked off. Matthew thought it was really funny that some little hispanic chick gave me attitude.

We ended up seeing The Breakup... we and 3 other couples were the only ones in there - THANK GOD! The movie was not at all what I expected... I was kinda let down by the ending but I won't ruin it for anyone else.

Christians

This post came from my cousin's myspace. I thought it was interesting.... what are your thoughts? Obvisouly he's not a christian.... quite the opposite actually.... satanist.... but nonetheless I love him just the same... if not more.

Christian Beliefs
11 - You say that you are the most peacful religion but you are responsible for the most deaths, tortures, and extortion known to man.

10- You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of your god.

9- You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from lesser life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt

8- You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Trinity god

7- Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" -- including women, children, and trees!

6- You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5- You are willing to spend your life looking for little loop-holes in the scientifically established age of the Earth (4.55 billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by pre-historic tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that the Earth is a couple of generations old.

4- You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects -- will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet you consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving".

3- While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to prove Christianity.

2- You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

1- You actually know a lot less than many Atheists and Agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history -- but still call yourself a Christian!

Let me know what you think!

A new look

I'd been wanting a new look for my blog but I'm not very good with the html junk so when Heather asked Crystal for help then I browsed through some templats myself.... whatcha think? Althought my links are gone off the side of my page and I don't know how to add those.

Jessica spent the night with her nana and papa last night. They live exactly 11 minutes from our new house. They're very excited that we'll be so close. She should be coming home sometime this evening.

I moved Jeremiah's follow up appointment to Friday. Matthew's going to get off earlier Friday so I can take Jeremiah to the heart doctor and then to the regular doctor. I wish he were able to go with me but someone has got to watch the little ones and we didn't think taking them all with us would be a good idea ;)

Matthew's off Monday and Tuesday!!!!! We don't have any big plans for the holiday yet but maybe something will come along. We're going to finish getting our stuff packed up on Saturday.

My sister and Zac leave on Sunday for New York. I can't remember if I told you guys or not but he's been taking modeling and acting classes for a few months now. He was selected out of hundreds of kids to go to New York for a week long of auditions.

My parents are house sitting for them next week (tony will be out of town working). So that will give us a whole house to ourselves.... works out good for everyone!

Our beach trip is July 20th - 23rd.... We close on our house on the 24th! Jessica is taking a friend with her to the beach.... its what she wanted for her b'day.

well i'd better go.... the kiddies are napping and I need to straighten up some stuff.

other stuff

we went to boaz on Saturday for my grandfather's b'day. I think my mom said there were 51 of us (FAMILY) and even still not all were there. We swam. The boys didn't but the rest of us did. Darcy loves the water. I bought a disposable camera and took some pictures... I'll post them when i can.

we're still living with my parents and will until we close on our house. My parents seem to enjoy having their grandkids close.... although I'm sure at 4am in the morning they'd rather them not be so close.

Darcy's into everything... I can't tell you how many boxes of cereal we've swept off the floor. She's also managed to dump out a box of mashed potatoes and a bag of flour. She gives Oscar a bite of everything she eats. She also got this new thing where she'll just walk up to Oscar and pop him on the nose... I guess she's just copying my dad. Poor Oscar.

Well I've gotta go cook some lunch. Let me know you're still reading or else I might stop posting ;)

Are you there, God?

So much has happened over the last few weeks I'm not even sure where to begin. I've already shared most of it with you all. I'm just replaying all the events in my head.

I really wish God worked the way I need him to... I wish He'd send me an email and let me know what to do. We've been praying about a house for months and months now. We've been praying about lots of things but it seems like we're not getting clear answers. I'm frustrated. My hubby and I are emotionally drained from everything.

We found a house in Jemison and over the last week we were back in forth with the seller about the a/c unit that had gone out upstairs. For some reason she thought we should be the ones to pay for it! We finally had had enough so we withdrew our offer yesterday. We spent the remainder of the afternoon riding around looking at houses. See we had prayed that if it wasn't supposed to happen then God would close the doors... so we felt they'd been shut. We found another house in Helena. It's a foreclosure. It has new beautiful hardwood floors throughout the main level. A really huge living room, big kitchen with nice eat in space and then a room off of the kitchen that i'm sure is supposed to be a dinning room but b/c it has doors I thought it would be a great office space. The bedrooms were all upstairs... well 3 of them anyways. The master was HUGE and the other bedrooms were nice as well. The 4th bedroom was downstairs in the basement. --------- i had to stop right here to answer the phone... it was my realtor telling me the crazy lady had agreed on everything we had asked her so it looks like we'll be moving to Jemison. The F/C house I was talking about was $20,000 more and it had to have new carpet and paint throughout.

Looks like we'll be closing on July 24th. The day after we come back from the beach for Jessica's b'day.

i'm alive

Just a quick update

We still do not know anything for sure with the house. The lady (more like a girl) is going through a divorce and she's having a really hard time dealing with everything. She's gone back and forth over the price, when to close and all kinds of junk. The latest is... the a/c upstairs has gone out and she doesn't have the money to fix it. We don't mind fixing it ourselves if she gives us an allowance (which is basically money back after we buy the house) but she's not sure she wants to do that. Its crazy how this lady is acting. She's not willing to budge one bit but she's not really in a good place to be so stubborn... esp since we told her we're willing to push the closing back till the end of July. I wish she'd realize the longer she stays the more money she's paying for it. She's had it on the market for a long time and has had several offers fall through... this worried us at first b/c we thought maybe something might be wrong with the house... its not the house its the owner!!!!!! I'm waiting to hear back from my realtor... pray this works out... and pray for the poor girl!

House Update

We're meeting with our realtor in an hour to make a formal offer. WE (me, matthew and jessica) are very excited about the house and hardly slept b/c we were thinking about it. We are putting in the contract that we'd like to close on June 29th... pray that goes through. The sooner the better for us. And I'm so ready to have a place of my own again. I think we're all ready for place to call ours. A bedroom, a bedroom door, a kitchen, big closets, big yard... all the things you could ask for we have found... minus the jetted tub BUT the bathrooms are HUGE so we could add one eventually... or i might take a hot tube on the deck :) Matthew will have his own space... a barn shaped garage with a loft and bathroom. He's always wanted to work with wood and now he'll have the space to do it. And I'm going to use one of the rooms as a sewing room/computer room.

Well I've gotta go get ready.... Darcy's sleeping, Jessica's watching shark tale and the boys are chillin. Daddy will be home soon.

delete post

i deleted the last post b/c matthew didn't want anyone to think we're happy about the situation... which we really can't go into details... and wouldn't want to anyways.

the bottom line is we are no longer living with matt's parents. we wished we would have moved out under different circumstances but we can't change it now.

However, we did look at a house today and we're pretty sure we're gonna make an offer on it tomorrow. NOT b/c we need to but b/c we really feel like God has this house set aside for US! Pray we have a peace about the house.

My Notebook

A couple of years ago I began keeping a notebook by my computer for all my usernames and passwords. I also would write down other things I found on the internet or things that would pop in my head that I knew I needed to write down (ie. grocery list or things to do). It stays right next to my computer. Last night I bought me a new notebook. Its very cute... I'd take a picture but you know my sad story :( Its brown with polka dots on one side and stripes on the other... green's and blues. I can't wait to write in it.

fyi... i have a thing for office/school supplies :)

Father's Day

So what are your plans for Father's Day? And what are you getting the father's in your life?

We're going to my paw paw's in Boaz, AL. We'll go swimming for the first time with the boys. He's a big golfter so I'll probably get him something to do with golf.

For my daddy... I'm getting him underwear. Yes, underwear! I was over at their house a few weeks back and their clean clothes were on the couch to be put up. I was joking about his holey underwear and ripped his last good pair... they were already ripped!!!!!!!! I told him i'd buy him some more for father's day. LOL

My my husband... well he already bought himself an $800 something new banjo but I think I'm going to pick him up something small.

For his dad... clueless! Maybe a new shirt. I can't seem to think of anything else.

Well all the little ones seem to need me and my hubby is in the shower. guess i'd better go!

Jessica...

she went to her nana's house yesterday (jessup's mom's) and my sister just called to invite her to the beach with them... their leaving this afternoon... so as soon as she gets home from nana's she's out the door again till Saturday. Sounds like she's gonna have a good summer after all.

Nap time... what a joke!

I put Darcy down for her nap and she stayed quiet for about 20 minutes... I thought it was safe to eat lunch... I was wrong. As soon as I sat down to eat my spaghetti from a can I heard her. I finally gave up and went into her room. She didn't want to lay down... I laid down thinking maybe she would... nope. She played. Now let me remind you that her room has NO windows and its pretty dark... well we have an itty bitty night light in there now. So i'm laying in her bed (bout to fall asleep) and she's sliding head first! I finally gave up when she turned on the Karoake machine. We're up and she's happy... i'm hungry!

They played putt putt and relaxed by the pool. They really enjoy their time together... I can't wait till Darcy's included. LOL Posted by Picasa

precious little ones

last night when we turned off the lights to go to bed Jacob laid there and laughed for a little bit. He was coooing and woooing... it was precious.

darcy woke up at some point so matthew ended up in the bed with her but this morning when his alarm started going off they were both in our bed. she sleeps with a sippy cup of milk... i know i know its not good but she doesn't fall asleep with it in her mouth like a bottle she just wakes up in the middle of the night and wants something to drink. well if her cup is empty she shakes it and then hands it to you and says thank you. how sweet!!!! this morning i was messin with her so i handed it back to her and she had this puzzled look on her face and then she shook it and handed it back with another Thank You! I filled it up for her :)

House Hunting

Yesterday we looked at 2 houses. One was a foreclosed property that was a mess! As soon as we opened the front door the smell made me gag! I can't imagine living in that crap. The carpet was ruinied from pets... not just a stain here or there but the whole carpet was a nasty orangish brownish color... there was a big square in the middle of the room of gray carpet... wonder where they had their rug LOL! Every fan in the house had a thick layer of BLACK dust mixed in with hair on the blades. The house has been empty since April... thats only 2 months ago. I wonder if these people had kids... if so someone needed to call DHR on them. I'm serious folks this house smelt worse than the zoo! There's mold in the basement bedroom which can make you really sick! When they moved out they took the stove.... how ghetto! Every door in the house had a whole punched in it. But the crazy part is... we're interested!!!! Its in a really nice neighborhood so if we can buy it for waaaay cheaper than its listed then we can fix it up (like that show flip this house - love it) and it would be great. We're gonna go back and look at it with my dad and brother in law so we can make a list of things that needs to be done and get a ball park figure on how much it would cost us to do it.

The funny part is... the other house we went to see just down the street was priced $3,000 LESS and it was in perfect move in condition... the only thing is the rooms were smaller.

Please be praying that we can work something out. We really need to get into a house so we can function like a family should.

My little Tom Boy!

Darcy loves to play in the dirt!!! She's been pushing her little wagon all over the place too.

I wish my camera worked b/c I would have taken the funniest picture just now.... I'm in living room picking up and she's out on the patio. I heard her laughing and I thought "oh no, what is she feeding the dog now?" I peeked my head out the door and there she was laying on her back right in the middle of dirt (from my pot with DEAD flowers) just laughing her little head off. I got a little closer and then she saw me... she laughed even harded!!! She was just laying there holding her toes laughing! too cute!

she's covered in dirt!!!!!!!

OH I NEED A NEW CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost forgot!!!

After we left the doctor's office we went to Bruno's. Matthew pushed the boys in their stroller while I filled up the cart. Everyone in that store wanted to see the twins! While we were checking out they started to get a little fussy and people were still coming up to us. We get out to the car and I'm trying to find my keys in my new HUGE diaper bag... can't find them.... babies are crying and its hotter than ... well you know. This lady 3 cars down is asking me about the boys while she's loading her groceries.... I'm trying not to be rude but i'm more concerned that I cannot find my flippin keys!!!!!!!!! Finally I open the doors with my code and guess what... there's my keys hanging in the ignition!!!! The doors weren't even locked!!!!!! So then Matthew's putting the boys in the hot car and i'm trying to load the groceries and this lady is STILL talking to me!!!! She has already walked over to see them and now she's back at her car telling me about her granddaughter... WOMAN I DON'T CARE!!! LOL!!!! Finally we were able to escape and home we headed!

Last night...

By the time we got home from the doctor's office it was after 5. I got home just in time to unload the car and take Jessica to volleyball practice. We were there from 6:15 till 8:30pm. As soon as I got home I had to get Jessica packed for her weekend trip and Matthew packed for his.

I noticed 2 HUGE wetspots on the couch. I asked Matthew what happened and he said Darcy bled... I was like HUH? Apparently she had gotten ahold of the metal lid off the formula and cut her thumb. He said she never made a sound. That he had just turned around to see what she was doing and she had blood everywhere and drawing pictures in it. He said he jerked her up and took her to the bathroom to try and find where she was hurt. He said his heart sank. But she was fine.

We finally got in bed after 10pm... Darcy slept with us. She cracked us up! She was so wired.... I'm starting to wonder if his mom gave her coke or something while we were at the doctor's office :) She was a mess! She jabbered... she sang... she even growled! But eventually we all feel asleep.

This morning....

Matthew left around 6am. Jessica was up and waiting on my mom by 7:30am. Darcy and I were just being lazy in bed.... that was until the ceiling started leaking RIGHT ONTOP OF JEREMIAH WHO WAS ASLEEP IN HIS BOUNCEY SEAT! I was furious!!!!! Grandmaw was upstairs taking a shower with the shower head pointed out so it doesn't hit her in the face and so where does that water go???? Right under the tub and down the pipes right ontop of my sleeping baby. This isn't the first time its happened and I'm afraid to admit its probably not going to be the last time! I'm just waiting for the tub to fall through the rotten floor!

Doctor Update

Yesterday we took the boys to the doctor for their 2 month check ups.
Jacob, who up until now was the smallest, is 12 lbs 11 ounces!!!! Everything checked out okay with the little guy. He only cried for few seconds with the shots.

Jeremiah weighted 12 lbs 8 ounces. His left ear still looks a little infected so she put us on some augmenton. She listened to his heart for a really long time. She thinks he has a heart murmor (sp). She said it could be a 'flowing' murmor which is more likely to close up on its own or it may be something serious so we have to have it checked out by a cardiologist. I'm just gonna pray that she made a mistake when listening.

Darcy wasn't with us but we had some concerns we needed to discuss with the doctor. She did this a while back but stopped but she's doing it again. It = waking up in the night screaming her head off like something is WRONG. Most of the time we can't calm her down no matter what we do... she's even ran from us or freaked out more when we touch her. Its pretty scary for us b/c we feel so helpless. We told the doctor everything and she thinks Darcy suffers from 'night terrors.' I've heard lots of stories about kids and night terrors... its wild. We've prayed over Darcy and in her room... we're just gonna continue to pray that these pass quickly!!!!!

Thats our doctor report.

Oh How Precious

Too bad my camera died. Jeremiah has been smiling like crazy lately... and laughing too. Jacob does too but Jeremiah is always smiling! They're both talking to us. Its so sweet. They are amazing!

Darcy has been a mess lately! She's so full of energy. Even in the whee hours of the morning :) Last night Matthew fell asleep in her room. This morning around 4 something I was up with the boys and I heard someone stirring around in her room. I thought it was Matthew finally coming to bed. The door opened and it was DARCY! She came running straight for me justa jabbering. She sat with me on the couch until I finished with the boys then we went back to bed... my bed. When I went in to wake up Matthew he jumped up and said "where's Darcy???" I just laughed. She watched him as he got ready and then when he came to kiss us good bye she didn't want him to leave... precious. I could see his heart melting. She definitely has a way with him. A Daddy's Girl all the way!

Jessica is growing up. Last Thursday night I took her to the open gym at kingwood for volleyball. There were only 2 other girls there - highschoolers! I could tell Jessica was shy but the girls were extremely nice to her and they ended up spending their time working with her. She left saying how much she liked them. I told her it was good to have friends in highschool. She's going to be in the 6th grade next year!!! She's excited about having a locker. I'm a little scared. She keeps asking me about makeup and shaving... I can't remember when my mom let me do those things but I think it was the 6th grade. yikes.

I laid in the tanning bed yesterday... a whole 10 minutes and guess what? I'm burnt! I've never been able to get a tan but I always try. Maybe this year will be different.

Friday Jessica leaves on her annual girl trip with my mom. They're going to Georgia.

Matthew also leaves on Friday... he's going to work in Montgomery Friday and Saturday. Guess it will just be me and the little ones.

Speaking of little ones... they need me. Bye!

Pride and Prejudice

Last night, after Jessica and I got home from the mall and Olive Garden, we (me, jessica and matthew) watched Pride and Prejudice... GREAT MOVIE!! I had no idea what it was about till recently. I was asked if I had named Darcy after Mr. Darcy but at the time I was clueless about the movie. Jessica and I stayed awake through the whole thing and loved every minute of it. Matthew was asleep before the movie ever started! Poor guy... he'd been home all evening with the kids while Jessica and I were at the mall. I was able to buy 2 new outfits and 2 pairs of shoes. I'd take pictures but my camera died :(

We didn't make it to church this mornning... I'm having girly problems. I'd share it here but considering there's way too many people reading my blog I'd rather just say 'girly problems.' Not that I'm the type of person to get embarrassed but its just way too much information for certain people reading this.
