My email to the Birmingham Zoo

My husband and I, along with our 3 children, arrived at the Zoo this morning at 9am. We bought a Family Membership for $99. It wasn't long into our trip that we realized we wasted our money. We were very disappointed to find MORE empty exhibits than exhibits with animals. Whats a zoo with NO elephants, tigers, gorillas and lions... just to name a few of the things our kids asked us about. There was one alligator and no cheetahs to be sighted. We headed to the cafeteria for lunch only to be KICKED OUT by one of YOUR employees. The line was backed up to the entrance and we were standing there with the double stroller we rented from you when the lady approached us and told us we had to move. I asked her where we should go b/c the line was backed up. She told us to take our children out of the stroller and leave it outside. My boys (twins) are 2 years old and my daughter is 3. There is no way we could have taken our kids out of the stroller and let them stand in line with us, order our food and then carry it back to a table. The lady was EXTREMELY RUDE and brought attention to us which caused us to immediately leave the zoo. Throughout our trip we overheard several other families comlaining of the absence of animals. We feel like we have wasted our money and time on the Birmingham Zoo.

Let us know what their reply is!
It looks like the kids had fun either way; though I would have done the same thing you did.
