I think about posting this question everytime I dry off but I never remember it later... but I did today. Here's my weird question....
I have hair on my towels even after I wash them.... so when I'm drying off I'm picking off hair off of me and the towel... how do I prevent this??? Its so gross... I wouldn't want anyone else to use my towels b/c I'd be embarrassed.

ours always smell like we've left them in the wash to long..you know like that mildew smell.... and no matter how much I clorox It won't go away! It's gross gross gross...I just went and bought new ones for amy's visit!!
that happens too!!!! sometimes if you use fabric softner that will help but you're not supposed to use it on towels b/c it wears them thin... who knows.
I ALWAYS put my wash thru a second rinse and that is when I put my softener in. Maybe that will help with the hair and odor issue.
My towels never have hair on them.
They do get a funky smell if I leave them in the wash and don't dry them. I use GAIN fabric softner in the wash, and it seems to help with the smell. Maybe its time for a new washer. We got our from Chris's parents when we got married and have loved it. We just bought our first dryer last January (2006)the other one was a used freebie.
