well first of all let me clarify what happened. She and her best friend's sister were meeting her best friend and her parents at Joe's Crab Shack. They were in the turning lane about to cross over oncoming traffic. The traffic was stopped and the other cars waved them across. There was a SUV in the far lane that was flying... it hit them on Morgan's side. Morgan's door was shoved way inside. They're not sure where Morgan went to because she was wearing her seltbelt and had nowhere to go.
Morgan has a fractured pelvis and is black and blue. She's in a lot of pain. She doesn't remember anything about the accident.
The accident was there fault since they were the ones going into traffic.
**** I was in a very similar accident a few years back. Traffic was stopped and they waved me across... and in the far lane someone didn't stop and hit me... it was my fault for the same reason. So the next time you're waved across traffic or you think about waving someone else across traffic - DON'T! ****

That is so TRUE!! Never, ever take any chances by taking someone elses word to whether it safe to go. If you can't see for your self that it clear than WAIT till you can. There just aren't too many second chances out there.
