I'm going to be setting up all new services and things at our new house over the next few days. I was wondering what internet service provider you use. So tell me who you use and why you like it. Thanks!!!
Bellsouth DSL --- I like it because I've never had any problems with it over the year and a half I've had it. Bundled with your phone it costs anywhere from 24.95 for "lite" dsl to 39.95 for super fast dsl.
If you prefer dial-up...narrowgate is a local Christian provider that blocks objectional sites before they can get to your computer--a good idea when you have young ones on your computer. I used them for about 6 or 7 years, but their DSL was way too expensive. If a bad site did pop up (there are so many new ones EVERY day that they can't catch them all)...you just have to send the address to them and they will look it over and block it.
I typed in an address last week to view photos online and I typed the wrong suffix (.com/.net/.org) after it and got a raunchy porn site instead! My 8 year old grandson was standing right beside me...thankfully he was looking away and I managed to close it before he saw anything...that never happened with narrowgate.
I love the new look. Crystal did it? Good job. And Ms. Vickie, I had thought about that when she was doing mine. I definitely made her work for it with my blog.
