Today drugs are everwhere... maybe they were back then too but we really hear about it being more closer to home than before. When I volunteered at celebrate recovery it was an eye opening experience for me. Some of those people looked 10 or more years older than what they really were. The drugs had complelety taken over their lives. Some had been in drug rehabilitation before but couldn't overcome the addiction. It was sad to hear their stories but sometimes it was hard not to get mad at them. I did see people straighten up and get their lives back together. I only wish more could overcome their addictions.
