Yesterday was my 29th b'day.
My hubby left Gerber Daisies by my computer along with a love note.
We were able to stay at home last night and just chill with the kids.
They got me a big picture collage from Kirklands and some sconces to hang on the wall.
It was a good day :)

I've taken pictures of Darcy every morning this week. I miss her so much!!!!!!!!

2nd day of school... look we found the pillow!



3rd day of school... like her pose! LOL
let me tell you what happened yesterday. I still feel really bad about it.
So far I've been picking Darcy up at 2:10 b/c Jessica has volleyball after school till 4pm.
Yesterday Jessica didn't have practice so I let Darcy stay if afterschool care till 3 when Jessica got out.
Well I told Jessica and I had Jessica tell Darcy's teacher but I DIDN'T tell Darcy.
When Jessica went to get her at 3pm she was in the teachers lap crying her little eyeballs out!
She was upset b/c she wasn't picked up and thought I'd forgotten her!! OMG! I was soooo upset that she was soooo upset!
She wimpered for a good half hour after she got home.
She didn't want to go to school this morning and I didn't blame her. But I promised her I'd pick her up today!!!

Thanks Jamie!!!! She gave me an award! Awe I feel loved. I started my blog in March of 2005. I had no idea that I'd keep it up for so long. I dream about things to post on my blog... its pretty addicting! LOL

Last week they had the fire truck outside of walmart... darcy was a little scared b/c she thought the sirens might go off. the guy asked if she wanted to climb inside but she said 'no thanks'



One of her training wheels busted so she insisited matthew take them off... but this is what he's stuck doing now.

Jeremiah got stuck... actually one day previous to this day matthew had to get both of the boys out... there were in there at the same time!!!!!!!!! he said he liked to have paniced b/c they were stuck!

Please Pray for my STUBBORN father!

Last week he woke up in the middle of the night with chest pains. He told my mom to take him to the hospital but before she could get them both dressed he'd decided he was okay and just needed to lay back down.

The next day he went for several test. He was there for 6 hours!!!! He went back yesterday for more test. This morning the doctor called him and said he needed to schedule an arteriorgram and put stints in TOMORROW. BUT my dad said he was too busy to do it tomorrow but he could do it next week! So he's having it done next wednesday at St. Vincents.

Now my mom is really upset... last week was the anniversary of the death of her mom. She had a heartattack during her arteriorgram and died.

I remember it very well. I was days away from turning 15. She had went to the hospital for chest pains. I had gone down with my parents to see her and she looked fine. She was talking and carrying on just like always. I remember giving her a kiss and telling her we'd see her the next day. I was really excited b/c she lived in Montgomery but was coming to stay with us for a while after she got out of the hospital.

The next day I was at colorguard camp and my uncle pete came into the gym. I knew something wasn't right. He took me outside and thats where my dad was waiting for me. We went to Montgomery to be with my mom. I remember thinking all the way there that I'd just seen her and she was fine how could she be dead!?

This time is always really hard on all of us and even more so now with this news about my dad. Please pray for us. I'll keep you posted.

Struggling

I'm having a rough morning. I'm so full of mixed emotions right now. I took my baby girl to her first day of school. I did good while getting her ready. I was real upbeat... trying to convince her everything was going to be GREAT. But really I was the one that needed convincing. I took her to her classroom and she took off and left me at the door!!! I went in after her to get some pictures. I showed her where to put her book bag. She sat in her seat and started coloring. She did great! I, on the other hand, had the make a quick exit b/c I could feel the tears coming on. I didn't even get out of the building before I lost it! I made myself sick. I called Matthew and he had to calm me down. I'm okay at the moment but my eyes are tearing up just typing this out. gotta run.

You have to help us (wonder pets)

Darcy has misplaced her pillow that I made for her when she was a tiny baby. We last saw it yesterday morning. We've looked EVERYWHERE!!! She starts school in the morning and its a huge comfort to her. I wanted her to be able to have it at nap time. We had a hard time getting her down last night and tonight without it. Please pray that it would be found ASAP!! We really have no other places to look.

I know this sounds silly but I think I'm more upset about it than she is and she's pretty upset!

Check ups & Shoes

Today we took the boys for their 2 year check ups... yeah we're a little late. We also took Darcy so the doctor could check her ear again.

The boys check out fine. They got shots... not fun! Darcy still has an ear infection but she's only been on her medicine for 2 days.

Afterwards we took them all for new shoes! My boys are wearing a size 8.5W and 9W's. Some other lady in there made a comment about that being big... I don't know if thats big or not. Darcy is a 9.5! Of course I got home and Jessica announced that she needs new shoes too! Now that kids foot is growing FAST! She wears an 8 already! She hasn't worn tennis shoes all summer but today at volleyball practice she noticed they were a size too small!

Tomorrow night is Darcy's orientation. I'm excited, nervous and sad all at the same time. My baby is growing up!

The doctor suggested I put the boys in a mother's day out program (or something similar) to get them socializing more. We're considering joining the YMCA b/c they have a daycare while you work out. Maybe I can kill 3 birds with one stone. 1. Get them around other kids 2. Give me a break 3. Loose weight!!!!!

Well its bedtime. We're going to start trying to go to bed at 9pm. Wish us luck!

That was quick!

Today was Jessica's first day at a new school. She seemed excited... I'm sure she was a little nervous too. We loaded up the car, gave the boys half a banana and dropped Jessica off at school. The boys didn't even have time to eat their banana's before we were already back at home!!! Isn't that wonderful!?!?!?! I've been driving a hour and a half round trip for the last 2 years! It wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't have to load up all the little ones too.

Darcy starts school on Monday. Today was a little rough with getting her up to take Jessica. I should have started a schedule like Jamie! She's such a sleepy head like her momma... unless its nap time!! LOL Yesterday I was trying to talk to Stackie about my MK stuff while Darcy was 'napping'... well Darcy ended up with chewing gum in her hair! Thank God for peanut butter... which i'll admit I didn't know that trick, Stackie told me!

Well I'd better go. I've got to take the boys for a checkup this afternoon. Matthew is going to met me there.

mycoplasma

Sounds yucky! Thats what the doctor said Darcy might have. Its NOT "walking pneumonia" but it can turn into it if not treated. Please pray for my Darcy bug. They put her on some more meds and we should see a difference in 48 hours.

Prayer Request

Please pray for Darcy. I took her to the doctor 3 weeks ago b/c she couldn't get rid of a cough. The doctor said she had an ear infection and she gave her antibiotics.... but nothing for the cough. I've been giving her over the counter cough meds. Well she still has the cough. Friday she was acting really clingy and tired. I thought it was b/c we were forced to get up with the twins pretty early. Friday afternoon/evening she puked. I thought it was b/c she drank her hot milk really fast. She loves hot milk when she's sleepy. She seemed to be find after that until this morning. She woke up gagging. She's been doing it all morning. I'm thinking its her sinus' draining but I'm just not sure. She obviously doesn't feel good. She's pale. I'm going to take her to the doctor tomorrow. She starts school Aug 11th and I want her to be 100% well.
