Identical or Fraternal

Well I was told in the beginning that they'd have to send of the placenta to be able to tell... now i'm being told something different. I asked the pediatrician before i left the hospital if they knew anything yet and she said that the only for sure way to tell if they are identical is to have DNA testing done but insurance doesn't cover it. She said that there are ways to tell if they're not like if they have different blood types and those sorts of things (eye color, etc.) but if all thats the same it still doesn't mean they're identical and the only way to tell is to have them tested. i was kinda disappointed... so i guess if they start looking different then they're fraternal.
