Doctor Appointment
Darcy had her one year check up today... complete with a shot in each leg :( Everything checked out to be okay. She is TALL... she's 31 inches long! she weights 20lbs and 7oz... which is normal but her height is in the 95%. Everything checked out alright. She goes back in February for her 15th month shots... then she's done with shots till 4!

Goodie 2 shoes!
lol... so i'm up right... well i'm not exactly doing anything productive. I called my friend, aimee... she's got 2 kids... 2 months and 2 years (boys). I called her to see what she does this early. She laughed and said nothing... she'd already done it all. She's already washed the dishes, done a load of laundry, vacuumed and picked up the house... all before 9 am. Did I mention she's already gotten herself and her kids dressed!?! What a woman!
BURRR
I'm awake and freezing my butt off!!!!! Most of you know that once Jessica leaves for school I go back to bed... well not this morning... I decided to get up and be productive... its just taking me a little while to get started :) I'm soooooo stinkin cold at the moment and I can't move! My menopausal (SP) MIL probably has the air on again! Last night she turned it on and I snuck upstairs and turned it off. Its not air conditioner weather... open a window if you get hot but don't turn on the stinkin ac.
I woke up hungry this morning... ate some wheat thins with cream cheese.... yummy!
Darcy slept until 12:30pm yesterday... I didn't let her take a nap the rest of the day... at 8:30pm she was out cold... but woke up again around 9:30... finally back down for the count at 10:30... she woke up this mornig at 7am long enough to drink some milk. I'm going to wake her up in a little bit... i really need to get her on a better schedule... I'm just glad she didn't wake up in the middle of the night. she's got 2 teeth coming in on the top... I'm sure that plays a part.

pooped
thats how i feel at the moment. I've been fighting off a cold most of Thanksgiving. I'm feeling better today... just a little weak... but seems like I've been weak this whole pregnancy. While I was pregnant with Darcy I hardly ever complained. My friends even made comments about how I never complained with all the junk that went on. This pregnancy has kicked my butt and I've got 4 more months to go! Pray for my hubby... poor guy is wonderful but i'm sure he's tired of my complaining. He's been so good to me. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful husband... seriously!
Darcy has been a wild child... getting into everything! And then when you tell her "no" she just smiles and shakes her head No.... its hard not to laugh.
Let me tell ya what Jessica did... she's been taking care of me as well during my pregnancy... its hard for me to go up and down the stairs so she's my legs. Yesterday I asked her to bring me some coke (i should be drinking coke)... I took a big sip and it was FLAT!!!! I said "Jessica, did this coke fizz when you poured it cause it taste flat?" she said "yes m'am, I shook it real good first." LOL!!!!!!!! I couldn't stop laughing... bless her heart!

Prayer
Michael went back into training today... please keep him in your prayers... its hard to be away from his family (mainly WIFE) during the holidays... but he will be home in time for Christmas. Also during this time of the year remember our troops overseas who will not be home for Christmas... husbands not coming home, wifes not coming home... dad's and mom's not coming home.... sons and daughters not coming home... all for our freedom and safety.
And of course say a prayer for the families who've lost loved ones... military or not.
HO HO HO
We got our tree up yesterday and all of our Christmas decorations put out... its looks so pretty. Normally we wait a little longer to put it up but I couldn't wait this year... I would have put it out in October if my hubby would have let me :) I really love Christmas and the warm and fuzzy feeling it brings. We turned on some Christmas music made some pigs and blanket and got to decorating... it was a blast. Darcy watched from her playpen... without a fuss. She was very curious about everything. She really hasn't bothered the tree... she gets close and looks... and touches softly but backs away.
I'll take some pictures as soon as my mom brings me back my camera!

A New Do
I got my hair cut today and I must say its pretty darn cute... I'd take a picture of it and post it except for my mother borrowed my camera to take to Auburn. So you'll have to wait :)
Matthew and I also managed to get some Christmas shopping done today. Yeah we went during the 'game' and it wasn't too crowded. Ran into the 'pretty organ lady'... wasn't sure if she'd remember me but just as I asked she chuckled and said she reads my blog. funny and flattering all at the same time. When we first started attending Kingwood (probably 12 years ago) I would stare at her and think how beautiful she was... her skin was and is smooth as silk. I didn't know her name back then so I'd always refer to her as the pretty organ lady. Can you guess who I'm talking about? Careful we might make her blush ;)
After we left the mall I was forced to eat at the Olive Garden (yeah right! - forced my butt). It was delicious but afterwards I felt guilty... we could have spent that $30 on more Christmas presents for our family... oh well... too late now.
We came home but I left again.... went to sit with Lisa at the Hospital. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. She's not in ICU anymore but its not a regular room either. She's behind closed doors and the nurses check in on her every 15 minutes or so. She was in and out of it the whole time I was there... only waking up long enough to ask for ice chips. She's in a room with another lady... an older one... her name is Maple. She was hollering for someone so I asked her if I could get her something... WRONG... b/c after that every time i'd sit back down she'd call for me again. It really didn't bother me too much. She was very sweet. It reminded me of when we'd visit the nursing home while I was in Master's Commision.
Jessica and Matthew are watching Pirates of the Carribean.... good movie... i've already seen it. jessica's been begging us to let her watch it. We watched Madagascar last night... soooo stinkin cute! Matt and I are supposed to go see I Walk the Line tomorrow after church... its the Johnny Cash movie. Matt's been wanting to see if since they started making it. I've heard its a really long movie... not sure how well I'll be able to sit that long. We'll see. Well thats all for now. Hope everyone's having a good weekend.

Jacob and Jeremiah.... yep... TWO BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what am I going to do with all these girls clothes i've been saving!?!?
Needless to say matthew is very excited..... i'm excited myself... I was hoping for at least one boy but i'm a little in shock with two boys.

My friend, Lisa, is in the hospital... please keep her in your prayers. I just got back from staying with her. They are giving her 3 units of blood tonight b/c she lost so much today... your body holds 5 units. She's a little scared. Surgery is a possibility tomorrow.
