This year at church I signed up to do the Secret Sister thing... my first time to ever do secret sister. I've had a really fun time doing little things for my SS. I've left notes, little gifts and all sorts of fun things. BUT.... whoever drew my name hasn't done anything :( Am I doing too much? How does this work? Matthew says I got jipped. What are your thoughts? Of course I'm not doing it to get anything in return but I am kinda disappointed that I haven't gotten anything - a card would be fine.

I of course have never had or have been a secret sister but when Jennifer has participated in them you were required to do something once a month.
Ditto on the other comment. My mom does one at work. It's usually something once a month and then birthday, anniversary or special occasions.
That happened to Mom once, the person never did anything for her. Then at the end of the year when the person was revealed she gave Mom this huge basket overflowing with tons of stuff & apologized for not being a good SS.
What I would suggest is, the person who is in charge of SS, probably knows who has your name & you could just mention it to them. And they could nudge the person a bit.
It's almost like Secret Santa here at Christmas. They stopped doing it because people just didn't "get" it. That you were supposed to do little things for like 2 weeks - NOT give some huge gift the lasy day of the thing and then also give a $25 gift for the grab bag part. Some people thguht doing the little stuff was "too much work" - but that is the fun of things like that. Hopefully she will surprise you soon!
