Now that Obama has been elected do you think anyone's going to take on any small business opportunities? I've seen Joe the Plumber on several different new shows. I even saw something somewhere that said he was going to run for office for something. This guy has a new found fame!
My dad used to own his own business... It was hard. Everything else had to be paid before he could pay himself.

Joe the plumber is not even a true certified plumber. He is not licensed in the state he is in which requires licensing. Most small businesses do not make over $250,000 in their first year. They will not be affected by the 3% tax increase Obama discused - yes, that is all it amounts to 3% that he was proposing for big businesses and people with incomes over $250,000. People who want to run their own businesses will always make the effort. England and Ireland pay ridiculously higher taxes than we do - and they have people opening businesses all the time.
