CVS AGAIN

I went last Thursday before we left for our trip. I can't remember what exactly I spent but I'm pretty sure my total OOP was less than $5.00. The mop (Darcy's holding it) is where the bulk of my OOP came from... but I really needed a mop! I used many $2 off cvs brand coupons which basically canceled out all the wipes, handsoap, tylenol, ibuprofen, cotton balls and cleaner. I had coupons for Huggies and the baby powder was on clearance. The trident was free b/c I used several B1G1 coupons.

On a Jet Plane... don't know when I'll be back again!

Sorry you haven't heard from me much this week. I've been busy and I'm leaving in a few hours for Biloxi. Matthew and I are looking forward to some time alone. We've never been anywhere without our kids. Pray for my inlaws... they're watching our kids!!!!

Neverending List

I love owning my own home but there are times where I wish I could just call my landlord and let him fix things! We have a neverending list of home improvements to do. And in between tackling some of the things we want to do we have to fix things that we didn't plan on doing! My kitchen isn't totally finished yet. I still need to paint my cabinets and change out the light fixtures. Changing out the light fixtures is something we've slowly done throughout the other rooms. I found this site with hinkley lighting and they've got some nice stuff to choose from.

I remember when the nintendo first came out YEARS ago. My dad and I would play all night long. A few years back I was telling Matthew about how my dad and I would play it together all the time and it was good bonding time. Well that Christmas he bought me a Playstation 2. It was the year they came out. He stood in line and paid WAY MORE than I would have liked for him to pay. The sad thing is I can count on one hand how many times we've played it. We mainly used it for a dvd player. We eventually let Jessica have it but by that point there were bigger and better things to have like a Wii or the Halo thingy. So now its shoved in a closet collecting dust. Now the playstation 3 is out!

One night after supper this past week we loaded up our kids and headed to Sonic. They loved it!!!!!
The boys had Apple Juice Slushes! YUMMY!
Darcy had a Banana Split (b/c the pictures showed a cherry on top and she loves cherries)

Montgomery Zoo

We have a membership to the Birmingham Zoo... which means we get a discount when we go to other zoo's. Today we went to the Montgomery Zoo... which is closer!!! LOL Matthew's parents came along too.
Jessica was at Six Flaggs with her dad.
It was HOTT!!!!! I did have my hair down and fixed but after 3 minutes I pulled it up!!!
We had a great time and the boys did better than they did at the B'ham Zoo.
The zoo was great! We'll definitely go back!
