Happy Thanksgiving!

We're leaving this afternoon and won't be back till Sunday.

Please pray for us. We're all still sicky. Jeremiah is probably the worse off at the moment. He's got snot pouring out of his nose and smeared across his face - NO FUN! His cheeks are flushed, his lips are chapped and his nose is raw.

I'm left here today making sure everything is packed and loaded into the car. Matthew is meeting us at my parents house this afternoon. I'm a little stressed b/c with Jeremiah feeling this icky he won't hardly let me out of his site. I have a lot to do today. Pray that I don't forget anything :)

WHAT A WEEK!

This past week has been a doozie. Monday Darcy and I both went to the doctor. She's still not better!!! I'm tired of my baby being sicky!

Tuesday afternoon Stackie and her crew made it to my house. We went to sips n strokes that night for some much needed girl time. Matthew watched all of our kids! Good Man - I know!

Wednesday Jacob woke up with yucky stuff in his eyes. He and Jeremiah acted like they weren't feeling good. I worked Wednesday night and by the time I got home Matthew wasn't feeling good.

Thursday Matthew skipped work and went to the doctor. I took Jacob to the doctor. She gave Jacob some meds and gave some for Jeremiah too... I'm sure everyone is sharing the same crap. Lucky us :) Thursday afternoon I had to take Jessica to the dentist.

Friday morning Stackie left... God I hope they don't get sick!!!!! Matthew went to work and I was home taking care of the sickies.

Saturday - today - Matthew worked to try and makeup for missed work. Jessica woke up saying she couldn't breathe. Jacob and Jeremiah seem better but Darcy is still coughing her head off!

We've spent over $150 this week on Copays and Prescriptions!!! I'm over this junk!

We need to be well b/c we're leaving Tuesday for the mountains... which is stressing me out for a whole nother reason which I won't get into here.

Oh... Go check out Tara's Blog. She needs your prayers!

Jessica had Matt over on Sunday for Darcy's b'day party.
His birthday was on Saturday.
This is a very polite young man. I'm very proud of her choice of b'friend.

Tuesday Already?

Wow! I'm still alive...

Our appointments went well... Darcy still has an ear infection... she's been sick for a month! They gave her some more meds. I'm hoping she's going to be better before we leave next Tuesday for the mountains.

Darcy's party was perfect. I'll post pics asap.

My dad was in a wreck this morning but he's okay. He was hit from behind and shoved into a truck in front of him. So now they're trying to get his car fixed before the trip.

Well I'd better get busy... I've got a lot to do today and I'm not feeling it! LOL

A new week!

I'm ready for a new week! This one has been rough! I got 2 tickets on Monday... one for speeding and the other for not having a current insurance card in my car. The insurance ticket is an easy fix. I just have to send them a copy of my card.

Tuesday I worked and got home really late after having to take someone else home. I stopped by Walmart and at the check out line I started feeling really tired. By the time I got back home I was S I C K !!

Wednesday morning I couldn't swallow WATER without it hurting. I offered Jessica a skip day but she declined! I really needed someone to take care of the kids b/c I was feeling YUCKY! I kept falling asleep most of the morning and then finally it was nap time. Jessica & Darcy got home from school and I stayed in bed until 6:30pm. But went right back to bed around 8:30pm! My parents came down and my mom cooked us supper.

Thursday was a little better but I was still feeling really tired and worn out.

Today... I'm still congested but I'm feeling much better than I did on Wednesday! Jessica had a basketball game tonight. She did really well I think she scored 6 points! They won!

Tomorrow Matthew's working... we need overtime to pay off my ticket :)

Sunday is Darcy's FOURTH birthday and we're having a family gathering after church.

Monday I have a doctor's appointment and then I have to take Darcy for her check up. And sometime that afternoon Staci will be arriving with her kids! I'm so happy to have them!!!!

DROPPING!!

I was able to buy gas the other day for $1.99!! I was sooo excited! This was just below Montgomery.

Happy Birthday Darcy!

We thought it would be nice to do some sort of birthday celebration in Elamville. That way Aunt Helen and Grandmaw could be a part of it. I think we confused Darcy. Papa D made her a chocolate cake with cool whip and snickers on top! Yummy! He's making the same cake for Sunday's party but he's using Reese cups!

Darcy turns 4 on the 16th! My baby is FOUR!!

Here's the elamville gang!

Going out of town

We're heading down to South Alabama this weekend. We're leaving bright and early in the morning. Jessica has a game tomorrow so she's staying with a friend all weekend.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I'm sure I'll have tons of pics when we get home!

Little Italy's

Little Italy's is expanding! He's opening up a new store in Columbiana some time this month. He's working on getting a Helena store opened after that. If you're interested in franchise opportunities you might want to stop in and speak to Rusty!

He's also hiring for the new Columbiana store if anyone needs a job! I love working for him... he's a super great guy!

Last night I delivered pizza's! I took 5 deliveries and made $31! That doesn't include my hourly pay!

Now

Now that Obama has been elected do you think anyone's going to take on any small business opportunities? I've seen Joe the Plumber on several different new shows. I even saw something somewhere that said he was going to run for office for something. This guy has a new found fame!

My dad used to own his own business... It was hard. Everything else had to be paid before he could pay himself.

My Paw Paw the Golfer!

My Paw Paw Bill... he's an avid golf player. He's better than most of the young people he plays with. He's been playing as long as I've been living... and probably longer! He actually talked my Nanny Faye into moving next door to the golf course!!!! He's there every chance he gets! When I was little I used to get to drive the golf cart for him while he played. It was always a lot of fun. I didn't know what Titleist golf clubs but I'm sure he's heard of them. He's a golf pro in my books!

Growing Fast

Little Italy's is about to open a new location in Columbiana! They're also working on a place in Helena too... by the old Brickworks. The dine in at the Jemison store is open. We've had a few customers but I think the word hasn't quite got out yet. We need to invest in some promotional products to help spread the word. I suggested we get really cool shirts made and sell them. We need to get some banners and hang them around the city. I'm hoping business will pick up soon!

I WANT SOME!

I think these boots are AWESOME!!! Really I do. i would wear them all the time if I had a pair. I love boots anyways and I think these are super cute! I bet they keep your feet warm too! Maybe I'll hint around to Matthew that I would like them for Christmas. He's normally pretty good at picking up on hints! So would you wear these?
Go here to check out some other styles.

White Christmas

I would love to have a White Christmas this year.... So God if you're taking request I vote for WHITE CHRISTMAS IN THE SOUTH!!! I'd even welcome a... BLIZZARD! Yep, I said it!! Most of us remember how much we fun we had as kids... Do you think it was fun for our parents?? I remember we had to bury our milk and stuff in the snow off the back porch! We missed lots of school. We had the BEST time though. But now that I'm the adult I wonder if it would be the same.

Man I might need to run out and get me some tire chains!

Must Have!

You know every year theres always this mad dash around Christmas for the latest must have toy/gadget for kids. What is it this year? Last year all the fuss was over the Xbox 360. Is it that still this year? I've heard it was. But thankfully Jessica doesn't want it! She did but instead she settled for a Wii because her cousin, Zac, has the Xbox. I'm not sure what her "Big" gift will be this year... I need to get on the ball! I've gotten a few things tucked away for my hubby but thats it.

Aweeeee

Darcy's birthday is coming up soon. She'll be FOUR on the 16th of this month. I wanted to get her something special. Something she'd keep forever. I signed up to receive a gift through Frecklebox. They specialize in personalized things for children. I was able to get one of their personalized books. Its very cute. The front of the book is precious. The entire book is all about Darcy! Matthew reads the kids stories everynight before bed and I know this one will be a favorite! I might have to get one for each of the boys too!

If you're looking for something special for a child, grandchild, neice or nephew this place has some really neat gift ideas. They have tons of other personalized things to choose from... like personalized growth charts, personalized party favors, personalized coloring books, personalized posters and more!

I remember when I was younger my cousin Tommy had a record that sung Happy Birthday Tommy. I thought it was the neatest thing ever! Kids love being recognized and these gifts are great!

Christmas is just around the corner... better shop now to make sure you have it in time!!! I got mine fairly quick but the holiday rush is about to begin! Don't waste time!!!! Go get your kid a cool book thats all about him/her!

Just inside the front cover it says "Love, Mommy & Daddy"

You can even have a personalized message inside the cover!!!

THATS MY GIRL!

She's a starter for the Varisty Basketball team! She's the pointguard!
This is the same kid that barely got to play last year at her old school but this year she's doing all sorts of new things!
I'm so proud of her. She's very athletic!
